20 billion fund for the development of SMEs in Ivory Coast

Last Tuesday, December 1, 2020, Félix Anoblé, Minister for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises, together with Léonce Yacé, General Director of the Nsia Banque group, signed an agreement for the creation of a fund of 20.00 billion Fcfa for the SMEs, including 7 billion for women entrepreneurs in the SME sector in Ivory Coast.

This agreement is aimed at people who have a business or who wish to start an economic activity under certain conditions of profitability and solvency in the Ivory Coast.

The Minister for the Promotion of SMEs described the offer as exceptional and encouraged SMEs to take advantage of this opportunity, especially those that are made up of women or young entrepreneurs. \”I remain convinced that with our combined efforts, we will achieve our commitment to place our country in the prospect of a new glorious period through the harmonious development of our businesses,\” he declared.

On the other hand, in the statements of Léonce Yacé, he again echoed the bank\’s will to support the government of Ivory Coast in its policy of turning SMEs into the main engine of economic development and thus increasing the creation of new jobs for young people.

The platform\’s spokesperson for SMEs, Dr. Diomandé Elias Farakhan, thanked the government for this agreement with the bank for the emergence of SMEs, and asked all interested parties to take advantage of this opportunity.
