Export to Ghana

Ghana is a West African country constituted as a semi-presidential republic. It is bordered to the north by Burkina Faso, to the east by Togo, to the west by Ivory Coast, and the south by the Gulf of Guinea.

With an estimated population of 24,96 million in 2011, Ghana is, after Nigeria, the second-most populous country in West Africa.

With an area of 238,533 km2, it is the 82nd largest country in the world. About half of the country is less than 150 meters above sea level.

Despite Ghana’s important exports of minerals, among which gold stands out, and agricultural products such as cocoa; the weight of imports is greater and, therefore, the trade balance is in deficit. Most of these imports come from the United Kingdom, China, and the United States. Ghana’s main trading partners are China, Nigeria, and India.
