Export to Togo

Togo is the 170th most populous country and the 125th largest in the world, with a population of approximately 6 million inhabitants and an area of 56,785 km².

Located in West Africa, this Sub-Saharan country has a total border of 1,880 km through which it borders Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Benin.

The Togolese economy is characterized by the predominance of the primary sector, especially by agricultural activity. Agriculture is estimated to represent more than 40% of the national GDP.

Togo’s trade balance deficit is becoming more and more important. Its main import is fuel, and its main suppliers are France, China, the Netherlands, and the United States. On the other hand, the most important exports are cotton, phosphates, cement, and cocoa. These products are destined for neighboring countries such as Benin, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Burkina Faso.
